Help other players point the way when they have questions or problems. They will return the favor in the future when you are in need of such help.
If you are accessible to a wow items in a party and you do not need it actually, just give it to a party member who needs it.
This can earn you good reputation. And if you happen to have extra copies of wow items that can be used for a quest, you can give them to other players that are working on that quest.
